Meet Michelle
I moved to Auburn in 1998 because I fell in love with my (now) husband, and we stayed here because we fell in love with Auburn. I am grateful for all this City has given me-a career, friends that have become family and a sense of community. Over the years, I’ve become a member of local non-profit organizations and continue to volunteer for other service organizations in our community.
I’m entering my twenty sixth year working for the Placer County Assessor’s Office, helping property owners understand property tax issues, and training other assessor offices and agencies throughout the state.
My priorities are to maintain and improve our public safety resources; increase support of our business districts and improve our city infrastructure without compromising our historic values.
Our city needs leaders who listen to residents, businesses, and neighboring entities. My experience working in local government, as a former school board member, and being an appointed Auburn City Council member has given me leadership skills to ensure open and respectful communication, so that everyone impacted by important decisions can have a place at the table.
I humbly ask for your vote to Auburn City Council on November 5th.
